The nose is beautifully structured, fruity, fresh, mineral, elegant and offers a beautiful delicate and classy character. It reveals beautiful notes of small ripe red fruits, violet/lily and small notes of cassis associated with touches of bright raspberry, graphite, zan and a fine hint of toast. The palate is elegant, racy and offers a mineral frame, accuracy, a slight airiness, precise power, subtlety, suavity as well as gourmandise. Softness/creaminess on the mid-palate. Energy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy blackberry, small ripe red fruits and small notes of violet/lily associated with touches of concentrated small fruits, racy minerality (see iodine) as well as fine hints of toast, chocolate and a subtle hint of vanilla in the background. The tannins are elegant and finely chalky. Beautiful length and persistence.
