Château Tour des Termes 2022 – Saint-Estèphe

The nose is elegant, precise, deep and offers intensity as well as a beautiful elegant darkness. It reveals notes of boysenberry, quite ripe berries and small notes of Bigarreau cherry associated with touches of liquorice stick, juniper berries as well as fine hints of violet, almost balsamic and a discreet iodized hint. The palate is beautifully built, supple, fresh, elegant, mellow, harmonious and offers concentration, deepness, a good definition, an infusion side as well as a frank, taut and racy tannic frame. Elegant darkness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy wild blackcurrant, small bright red fruits and small notes of roasted-elegant cherry associated with almost fine hints of cranberry, iodized / racy minerality, a fine hint of balsamic, chocolate, nutmeg and toasted hazelnut. Harmony and a delicate roundness/enveloping side. Tannins are mellow and tangy. A beautiful small chew and a subtle hint of sap (in the background) that bring energy.
