The nose is beautifully built, deep, elegant, beautifully aromatic, precise and intense. It reveals notes of boysenberry, black cherry / morello cherry and small notes of violet associated with touches of crushed strawberry, blueberry, fine hints of chocolate as well as a very discreet hint of lily, infusion and toasted hazelnut. The palate is fruity, elegant, racy, gourmand, precise and offers accuracy, acidity, mellowness, beautiful energy, purity, a fresh gravel with a touch of Margalaise as well as a little airy creaminess and freshness. Nice mid-palate. A lovely delicate texture, fresh and creamy. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/bright red cherry, crushed raspberry and small notes of fleshy/juicy plum associated with touches of elegant roasted berries as well as hints of toast, nutmeg, Bourbon vanilla and a subtle hint of almost infusion. Lovely chewiness and delicacy. The tannins are soft, gourmand, saline and offer a fine chalky hint.
