The nose is well-built, sappy and elegant. It reveals notes of spices, a hint of pepper, Boysenberry notes, small strawberry and small notes of Timut pepper associated with touches of violet, as well as fine nuances of cornflower, tobacco and a delicate hint of clove. The palate is fruity, fresh and mineral and offers a bright frame, precision, suppleness and a beautiful minerality. It expresses notes of pulpy, juicy cassis, bright raspberry and lightly cornflower associated with touches of star anise, tobacco, as well as a subtle nuance of camphor, racy minerality, iodized gravels, hints of cardamom and dark chocolate. We find also a touch of infusion, bergamot and a discreet hint of black spices on the finish. Lovely mellow and chewiness on the finish/persistence.
