CHÂTEAU MARQUIS DE TERME 2022 – Margaux, Grand Cru Classé

The nose is elegant, clear and racy and offers a certain darkness in elegance, as well as an infusion side. It reveals aromas of graphite, blackberry and violet associated with hints of star anise, small black fruits, cubeb pepper, as well as smoky nuances and a hint of spice. The palate is fruity, mineral, gourmand and delicate and offers precision and acidulous frame. It expresses a certain brightness of fruit and graphite side and offers notes of juicy/pulpy cassis, acidic/juicy small black fruits and small notes of iris and violet associated with touches of small bright red berries and cherry. We find also nuances of vanilla blond tobacco, roasted almond, as well as a discreet hint of nutmeg. The wine offers freshness and minerality with volume. Good precision, brightness and elegance of fruit and offers a subtle touch of verbena in the background.
