The nose is well-built, bright and offers a pulpiness, a certain finesse and silkiness. It reveals notes of bright blackberry, crushed small red fruits and small notes of violet, saline gravels, cubeb pepper, as well as a fine hints of roast-elegant and discreet touches of infusion and nutmeg. On the palate, the wine is beautifully supple, juicy, suave and offers a certain verticality and fine brightness of the fruit. It expresses notes of bright raspberry, brilliant cherry and more discreetly, pulpy cassis associated with touches of violet, star anise, iodized gravels, as well as a hint of cubeb pepper, discreet almost sappy notes of toastiness and a subtle touch of almond, almost fennel seed and cardamom. Tannins are mellow and gourmand.
