CHÂTEAU LA LAGUNE 2022 – Haut-Médoc, Grand Cru Classé

CHÂTEAU LA LAGUNE 2022 – Haut-Médoc, Grand Cru Classé

The nose is well-built, elegant, complex. The wine needs to be decanted. It reveals notes of Boysenberry, small wild fruits and more discreetly, Kampot pepper associated with hints of infusion, hint of cornflowers, sappy/cypress/sense of the place and a discreet accent of bergamot. On the palate, the wine is well-built, fresh, juicy, supple and offers pulpiness. Precise, well-built and delicate. In mouth this wine expresses notes of pulpy cassis, pulpy/juicy cherry and small notes of small bright red berries associated with hints of infusion, bergamot, a fine hint of roats-elegant and fine hints of racy minerality, fresh gravels, as well as touches of tobacco and nutmeg. Tannins are mellow, elegant and gourmand. Very nice finesse and delicacy in its grain, silky and delicate. This wine offers a discreet, almost sappy note of cardamom in the background on the finish.
