Clos Petit 2022 – Pauillac

Clos Petit 2022 – Pauillac

The nose is « frank » and racy, with an intense, precise and « frank » grain, a discreet spiciness and depth side. It reveals notes of small brilliant red berries, wild raspberry and small notes of infusion, associated with touches of toasted aromatic herbs, fine hints of clove and nutmeg, with a subtle hint of licorice stick. The palate is well-built, supple, mineral, fresh, balanced with a tangy frame. It expresses notes of pulpy blackberry, brilliant cherry and small notes of small elegant-roasted red fruits, associated with fine, almost balsamic touches, aromatic herbs and discreet hints of crushed red plum and clove and a subtle hint of pepper. Good length. Tannins are precise and sappy. A wine fresh and mineral, with gravelly persistence.
