Moulin de Duhart 2022 – Pauillac

Moulin de Duhart 2022 – Pauillac

A pretty, elegant floral nose offering freshness, depth and a certain complexity. We find notes of roasted-elegant red cherry, crushed redcurrant and more lightly, violet, lilac associated with hints of almost rhubarb, as well as discreet hints of licorice stick, cherry pits, sap and almost balsamic. The palate is nicely mineral, fresh, balanced and offers a tangy frame, precision, tension, suppleness as well as warm side. Fleshy and maturity of fruit, but freshness and controlled. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cherry, crushed redcurrant and more lightly, pulpy cassis, associated with touches of roasted-elegant fruit, as well as fine, almost balsamic, toasty, tonka bean, chocolate hints and discreet hints of cocoa. Beautiful freshness, precision and persistence.
