The nose is beautifully built, elegant and offers a beautiful definition, elegant darkness as well as a beautiful purity of fruit. It reveals notes of boysenberry, pepper and small notes of aromatic herbs associated with touches of crushed strawberry, vanilla, bright morello cherry, violet as well as a hint of incense and sweet blond tobacco. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful juiciness, freshness, good minerality, a tangy frame, a certain tension, accuracy as well as delicacy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of creamy blackberry, cherry and small notes of cornflowers associated with touches of fleshy/crushed raspberry as well as a hint of small blue fruits and a slight hint of toasted almond. Tannins are mellow, fresh and precise. Good length and good persistence.
