Beautiful concentration of ripe berry notes on the nose, especially black fruits (cassis, blackberry, morello cherry, black plum), combined with aromas of crushed red cherry and raspberry, as well as wild strawberry. Then, we feel a fragrant and elegant floral bouquet (with dominant notes of rose and peony and a touch of lilac), a hint of vanilla, cardamom and liquorice, as well as cocoa, coffee and toasted hazelnut with a pleasant bitterness of almond. The palate is firm, chiseled, slightly bitter and tight. It expresses distinct flavors of black fruits (cassis, blackberry, morello cherry, black plum), combined with a tangy, bitter and a tannic hint of bird cherry and the tanginess of raspberry. We also find sweet spices (liquorice, vanilla in the background, black pepper), a floral hint in the background (peony, violet), toasted hazelnut, the bitterness of coffee and almond on the persistence. A chiseled, fresh, well-constructed wine.
