Château LILIAN LADOUYS 2022 – Saint-Estèphe

The nose is bright, juicy, airy and deep at the same time. It first expresses the aromas of black fruits (morello cherry, cassis, blackberry, hint of black plum), associated with touches of bigarreau cherry and raspberry. We also find a fragrant and airy floral bouquet (violet, a touch of rose), integrated notes of sweet spices (liquorice, cumin, white pepper in the background), a distinct but refined and enveloped toasted hint (toasted hazelnut, hint of chocolate), as well as a refreshing and subtle mentholated touch. The palate is well constructed, slender, elegant, and expresses the flavors of morello cherry, cassis, black plum, bigarreau cherry, as well as a good bitterness of almond, coffee, and an elegant touch of elegant spices (licorice, cumin). We also feel a floral bouquet on the persistence (violet, lilac in the background, dried rose). The finish is discreetly tight, tannic, but tangy, supple and solid at the same time, with gourmet notes of chocolate. Elegance, good potential.
