The nose is fresh, juicy, tangy. It first expresses aromas of red fruits (bigarreau cherry, redcurrants, bright raspberry) then associated with notes of tangy black fruits (cassis, blueberry). The second nose is elegant, spicy and toasted (toasted hazelnut, fresh wood in the background, liquorice, cardamom), with a herbaceous hint (dried pine needles) and violet in the background. The palate is juicy, elegant, refined, and expresses flavors of bigarreau cherry, redcurrants, raspberry, cassis, as well as a hint of bird cherry with a very delicate toasted bitterness, a bitter hint of coffee, dried needles and dried red cherry on the persistent. Tannins are velvety and well built. Beautiful acidity and good length.
