The nose is pretty, intense and offers a certain fleshiness, depth as well as elegant darkness. We find notes of wild blackberry, small bright red berries and more lightly, small brilliant red fruits, associated with touches of small concentrated/dense fruits as well as a hint of lilac and racy minerality/terroir. The palate is well-built, supple, gourmand balanced and racy, offering mellowness, chewiness, a little unctuosity and a certain gourmandise. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy blackberry, crushed strawberry and more lightly, small bright red berries, associated with a touch of rhubarb, flowers as well as a hint of cherry, mocha, tobacco, toast and camphor. Tannins are mellow and gourmand. Good persistence.
