Labastide Dauzac 2022 – Margaux

Labastide Dauzac 2022 – Margaux

The nose is fruity, bright, with an elegant darkness. It reveals notes of wild cassis, crushed raspberry and small notes of pulpy cherry, associated with touches of violet, star anise as well as fine hints of cardamom and toasted almond. The palate is well-built, fresh, supple and suave, with gourmandise, concentration and a lovely chiseled pulpiness. It expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cherry, violet, and small notes of crushed raspberry, associated with touches of licorice stick, as well as hints of toast, chocolate, tonka bean and cocoa. Good length. A wine nicely fresh and mineral, with a touch of gravel.
