The nose is well-built and offers breadth, depth and delicacy. It reveals notes of blackberry, crushed strawberry, crushed redcurrant and small notes of bright blackberry associated with hints of violet, licorice stick, as well as fine hints of star anise, a subtle almost of mandarin leaf and a few discreet hints of vanilla. The palate is well-built, fresh, supple, mineral with fresh frame. It expresses notes of pulpy cassis, bright raspberry and small notes of small bright red fruit associated with touches of racy minerality, bright blueberry, sage, as well as a discreet hint of star anise, infusion and an almost mandarin leaf note, sage and roasted hazelnut and offers a touch of chocolate. A wine is well-built, gourmand beautifully fresh.
