CHEVALIER DE LASCOMBES 2022 – Margaux

The nose is clear, fruity and fresh and offers a delicate concentration. It reveals bright notes of wild cassis, bigarreau cherry and small notes of small wild red berries associated with hints of tobacco, nutmeg, a discreet hint sappy, as well as fine nuance of flint. The palate is well-built, supple, delicate and airy and offers great balance and control. This wine offers finesse in its grain and a lovely silkiness. It expresses notes of pulpy cassis, bright blueberry and small notes of cornflower associated with touches of small bright red berries, as well as subtle nuances of blond tobacco, cardamom and a hint of fresh hazelnut. A wine well-built, gourmand wine and offers a slight chewiness. Lovely sapid persistence, mellow and gourmand.
