The nose is discreet. We find notes of fresh blackberry and more lightly, gray pepper, associated with touches of violet, small crushed fruits as well as a hint of spices. The palate offers minerality, freshness as well as a certain pulpiness and gourmandise of fruit. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, pulpy/fresh raspberry and more lightly, crushed cherry, associated with a touch of violet, licorice, as well as a hint of almost english candy and discreet hints of sweet spices. Tannins are sapid and mellow. Good length.
