The wine needs to be decanted. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, spices, cloves and small notes of spices associated with a touch of crushed strawberry, cinnamon and tobacco. The palate is fresh, mineral, well-balanced and offers a fresh frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackberry, pulpy cassis and small notes of pulpy raspberry associated with touches of vanilla, toast as well as a hint of chocolate and cloves. Good length. A subtle almost balsamic hint and vanilla in the background. Tannins are mellow and discreetly tight.
