The nose is fruity, with a certain intensity, « frank », fresh and sharp. It reveals notes of wild cherry, small wild red berries and small notes of cornflower, associated with touches of nutmeg, a hint of spice, almost cumin and discreet touches of fresh pepper. The palate is well-built, fresh, supple, velvety and gourmand with substance, thickness, fleshiness and gourmandise, all in balance. It expresses notes of crushed raspberry, pulpy redcurrant and small notes of fleshy cassis, associated with touches of cornflower, vanilla as wel as hints of chocolate. Good definition. Tannins are mellow and gourmand. Nice chewiness and substance.
