Le Clarence de Haut-Brion 2022 – Pessac-Léognan

Le Clarence de Haut-Brion 2022 – Pessac-Léognan

The nose is spicy, with a certain intensity and a fine, taut grain. It reveals notes of pulpy blackberry, fleshy strawberry and small notes of small brilliant red berries, associated with touches of nutmeg, violet as well as a fine hints of lilac, dry gravel and a hint of thyme, almost a discreet Mediterranean side. The palate is well-built, fresh, supple, airy, delicate, with a melodious side. It expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, concentrated black plum and small notes of notes of rhubarb, associated with touches of fairly ripe little red fruits, a Mediterranean side as well as hints of chocolate, toast and a subtle hint of star anise and sweet spices. Good length. The tannins are mellow and tasty. A wine with a lovely gourmand chew and a graphene and crystalline side.
