The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose is fruity, ripe, with a slight warm hint of roasted fruit. It expresses aromas of roasted red cherry, ripe morello cherry, raspberry, strawberry, crushed blackcurrant, combined with notes of dried pine needles, blackcurrant leaf in the background and black tea, as well as a touch of roasting (smoke, toasted wood, toasted hazelnut, a hint of coffee) and spices (liquorice, white pepper). The palate expresses a slight bitterness of cranberries on the attack, combined with a tangy fruity frame (cranberries, red cherry, raspberry, strawberry), a slight spicy hint (licorice, nutmeg, white pepper), roasting (toasted hazelnut, smoke, toasted wood in the background) and herbaceous (dried pine needles, dried blackcurrant leaf). Tannins are powdery, slightly bitter, enveloped in a salivating acidity. Good length on the fruit and a slight bitterness.
