The wine has a bright pale ruby color. The nose is perfumed, with distinct menthol and floral aromas on the opening. It initially expresses notes of liquorice, dried mint, violet and lily, which are complemented by aromas of fresh cranberries, red cherry, raspberry and tart strawberry, as well as a very slight hint of toasted hazelnut. The palate is juicy and gourmet, with a fruity, even slightly sweet attack. It expresses notes of crushed raspberry, red cherry, tart strawberry and cranberries, combined with notes of peony, violet, as well as a fine mentholated touch (liquorice, wild mint). Tannins are polished and refined. The acidity is lively and salivating and gives the wine a lot of energy. Good persistence in the mouth with a good bitterness.
