The wine has a deep ruby color. The nose is fresh, intense, and slightly smoky. It needs air. We perceive a racy minerality, hints of leather, and notes of fruits such as fresh blackberry skin and purple plum. The second nose opens with more intensity, freshness, and delicacy with notes of undergrowth, leather, black pepper, and black forest fruits. The palate is fresh, with good acidity. The tannins are present and powerful. There are still notes of leather and undergrowth. It is even slightly animal with touches of rose potpourris. The tannins are dry on the finish with juicy black cherry, cigar, and cigar ash. There is also a hint of licorice and black pepper. This is a wine with darkness in its power and austere in its beauty. A wine with potential.
