The wine has a beautiful ruby color. The nose is fresh, intense, and subtle, with lovely notes of crisp wild strawberry, redcurrant, and a hint of fresh blackcurrant. A hint of vanilla is also noticeable. It’s aromatically lovely. The second nose opens with more intensity, revealing juicy blue plum, violet, rose, and fresh pepper. There’s a hint of mint and sage in the background. The palate is fresh and fluid, with good acidity from the attack. There are pepper, rose, and wild strawberry notes. The palate is mouthwatering, with a hint of saltiness at the end. There’s juicy red cherry, a hint of licorice, and tannins that are present but measured until the finish. The finish is on blackberry skin. It’s long and delicate. A very beautiful, complex wine.
