(organic) The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity with slight garnet reflections. The nose offers concentration, intensity, fruity gourmandise as well as savoury notes of sweet spices and aromatic herbs. It expresses the aromas of grated nutmeg, white pepper, liquorice, cloves and crushed coriander seeds, combined with notes of wild mint, dried basil, sage, thyme, bay leaf and fresh tobacco, enveloped in a ripe fruitiness (the aromas of morello cherry, wild blackberry, wild strawberry, raspberry coulis, crushed blackcurrant, blueberry, elderberry in the background) and associated with a delicate floral touch (rose wild, elderflower, peony). We also find subtle tertiary notes – undergrowth, wilted flowers, wet leaves), a touch of dark chocolate, coffee and bitter almond. The attack on the palate is gourmand, silky and enveloping, with lots of flavors. We smell notes of juicy morello cherry, red cherry jam, fresh blackcurrant, blackcurrant jam, crushed wild strawberry, raspberry coulis, black plum and wild blackberry, combined with refreshing touches of peppermint, chocolate with mint, menthol, fresh basil, thyme, rosemary, with a savoury spiciness (licorice, crushed vanilla, clove, nutmeg), as well as refined and integrated tertiary notes (wilted flowers, wet leaves, undergrowth, tobacco, brewed black tea) and a fine floral bouquet (rose, violet, peony). The finish is sapid, suave and expresses the fine grain of elegant and polished tannins, but quite powerful. Beautiful fruity and floral length, with fresh acidity.
