The wine has a pale ruby color with garnet reflections. The nose is delicately fragrant, floral and finely spicy. It expresses notes of violet, peony, fresh rose, liquorice, vanilla, clove and coriander seeds, enveloped in a juicy and gourmand fruitiness: the aromas of wild strawberry, morello cherry, roasted red cherry, raspberry coulis, cranberry jam and red currant jelly, as well as a fine herbaceous touch (wild mint, rosemary, fresh basil) and torrefaction (toasted hazelnut). The palate is juicy, enveloping, gourmand and fresh. It expresses the flavors of wild strawberry, morello cherry, crushed raspberry, raspberry coulis, cranberry jam, as well as a touch of chocolate cherry, dark chocolate with mint, a savoury spiciness (liquorice, vanilla, nutmeg), elegant notes of flowers (peony, wild rose, violet) and a herbaceous touch (wild mint, rosemary), completed by notesof torrefaction (caramelized toasted hazelnut). The tannins are fine, but well structured. The finish is gourmand, warming and persistent, with good bitterness and refreshing acidity. A harmonious and refined wine.
