(organic) The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose is reserved and discreet, but offers fruit and a certain gourmandise. It expresses tangy aromas of bigarreau cherry, crushed red currant, raspberry, mountain ash and fresh blackcurrant, combined with notes of dried basil, peppermint, Earl Gray tea in the background, as well as a slight note of white pepper, liquorice and fresh hazelnut. In the mouth, the attack is tight, tannic and dry (we can see a rough texture of tannins). There is more juiciness on the mid-palate, thanks to fruity notes of crunchy strawberry, raspberry, crushed blackcurrant, cranberries and mountain ash, combined with touches of Earl Gray tea, basil and peppermint, to good bitterness and salivating acidity in the finish. A tight, slightly austere wine.
