Istine 2021 – Chianti Classico

(organic) The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose is fruity, floral and delicately herbaceous. It expresses notes of tart red cherry, fresh raspberry, cranberries, fresh red currants and blueberry, combined with notes of violet, dried rose, dried mint, sage and basil. On the palate, the wine is juicy, tangy and airy. It expresses the flavors of fresh strawberry, tart red cherry, cranberries, fresh red currants, combined with a floral bouquet (rose, violet, cherry blossom) and refreshing herbaceous hints (sage, basil, mint in the background). The tannins are a bit grippy and grainy. The finish is a little tight, with good bitterness and salivating acidity.
