(organic) The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. On the nose, it is reserved, but opens up after aeration. It expresses notes of tart red cherry, blueberry, crisp strawberry, raspberry, red currants, a touch of crushed blackcurrant, as well as a herbaceous hint of blackcurrant leaves, thyme and rosemary, as well as a delicate touch of liquorice. We also find a fine mineral framework (slightly limestone) in the background. On the palate, the wine is chiseled, a little tight, but juicy, with a crunchy acidity, which balances the tight tannin and a slight bitterness. The flavors are fresh, tangy. We find notes of bigarreau cherry, raspberry, red currant, a touch of cranberries, fresh blackcurrant, blackcurrant leaf, thyme and rosemary, associated with a very fine spicy note (licorice, clove). The finish is moderately persistent, tangy and with good bitterness.
