(organic) The wine has a bright ruby color, of medium intensity. The nose is fruity, gourmand and offers notes of ripe and roasted fruit. It expresses in particular the aromas of roasted red cherry, morello cherry, crushed strawberry, raspberry coulis, red currant jelly, associated with notes of balsamic, dried Mediterranean herbs, fresh basil, as well as a touch of peony and violet. On the palate, the wine offers juiciness, a certain roundness, fruit and good bitterness, with a lively acidity, which balances the fine tannins, and a firm structure. The wine expresses flavors of roasted red cherry, dried red cherry, fresh morello cherry, wild plum, raspberry coulis, crushed strawberry and cranberries with good bitterness, combined with touches of balsamic, fresh basil and dried Mediterranean herbs. The finish is rather persistent, powdery, with a fine mineral touch (dry gravel) and a hint of chocolate in the background. A gourmand and well-structured wine.
