The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose offers liveliness, precision and tanginess of fruit. It expresses notes of bigarreau cherry, cranberries, red currant and crushed raspberry, associated with fine floral aromas of rose and cornflower, as well as a fine herbaceous hint (blackcurrant leaf) and liquorice in the background. The palate is chiseled, fresh, juicy and fruity, with a hint of good bitterness. It expresses notes of crunchy strawberry, raspberry, cranberries and bigarreau cherry, combined with touches of rose, cornflower and cassis leaf, as well as a fine touch of pepper in the background. The tannins are perceptible, melted and silky. The finish is quite persistent, gourmand and fresh, with salivating acidity, a hint of good bitterness and a touch of cassis leaf in the background.
