The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose is airy, subtly fragrant and offers a certain concentration, as well as the juiciness of ripe fruit. It expresses notes of ripe morello cherry, wild strawberry, roasted red cherry, crushed raspberry, crushed blueberry and blackcurrant (in the background), associated with notes of sweet spices (liquorice, cloves, white pepper), flowers (rose, peony) and aromatic herbs (thyme, fresh bay leaf), as well as a delicate minerality (dry stone, graphite). The palate is fresh, juicy and enveloping, with lively acidity and good tannin structure: a little grippy, but with a fine grain. We find the flavors of tangy bigarreau cherry, crushed raspberry, cranberries, crushed blackcurrant and wild blueberry, associated with notes of liquorice, clove, lilac, thyme and bay leaf, as well as a fine minerality on the finish. Good persistence, with a pleasant bitterness and tanginess of bigarreau cherry.
