The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose is discreet and requires aeration. It then expresses subtle spicy aromas (liquorice, white pepper cloves), dried herbs (a touch of hay, dried mint, dried rosemary) and flowers (lily, dried rose), associated with notes of fresh fruit with a touch of dried fruit (fresh strawberry, bigarreau cherry, dried red cherry, dried cranberries, crushed wild blackberry). On the palate, the attack is chiselled and tangy and expresses notes of bigarreau cherry, fresh raspberry and fresh red plum, which are then completed by notes of crushed blackberry, juicy red cherry and crushed blueberry, as well as by fine spicy (liquorice, cumin), floral (rose petals, lily) and herbaceous (wild mint, a touch of blackcurrant bud) notes. The finish is quite persistent, tangy and expresses a good bitterness, notes of dried red cherry, a salivating acidity, as well as juiciness and a fine grain of tannins. Beautiful freshness on the palate and savoury notes of dried herbs on the nose. Gourmand wine with certain complexity.
