The wine has a bright ruby color, of medium intensity. The nose is fragrant, fruity, savoury and finely spicy. It expresses notes of dried red cherry (with a fine hint of roasted red cherry), fresh morello cherry, crushed raspberry, blueberry (in the background), ripe strawberry and red plum, associated with notes of sweet spices (liquorice, white pepper, cumin) and flowers (fresh cornflower, lilac), as well as a fine touch of rose leaf in the background. On the palate, the wine offers juiciness, precision and straightness. It expresses the flavors of bigarreau cherry, fresh cranberries, crushed raspberry, ripe strawberry, blueberry in the background and crushed morello cherry, combined with notes of fresh blueberry, lilac, and a fine spiciness (liquorice, white pepper, a touch of cumin) as well as a herbaceous hint of rose stem in the background. The tannins are soft, sapid and firm at the same time, with good structure. The finish is persistent, juicy and chiselled, with a pleasant bitterness and a salivating acidity. A straight wine, with a fresh fruitiness, a certain complexity and a beautiful structure.
