Fontanafredda Bianco Vigna Gatinera 96 mesi Blanc Noirs pas dosé 2014 – Alta Langa Riserva

The nose expresses scents of aging on lees and pronounced notes of evolution (butter, brioche, toast, flower honey), but delicate and integrated, refreshed by notes of menthol and very tangy citrus fruits (lime, zest of lime, grapefruit). The palate shows more notes of development (honey, wax, dried flowers), associated with young flavors of fresh lemon, grapefruit, dried mint, lemon yogurt. The finish is lively and energetic, very lemony, tangy and salivating, but pleasant and balanced. On the finish, we also find complexity and notes of brioche, honey, candied lemon, tea, dried herbs and flowers. A complex and refined wine, with a beautiful freshness.
