Banfi, Cuvée Aurora Bianco Extra brut 2019 – Alta Langa

The nose is refined, delicately mineral. It expresses fresh lemony notes at the beginning, which develop into aromas of candied citrus fruits. The nose also expresses slight hints of developpement (dried herbs and wilted flowers), associated with gourmand touches of fresh and crunchy stone fruit, lemon yogurt and butter. The foam is explosive, but pleasant. The palate is elegant, refined and mineral, slightly evolved. It expresses gourmand notes of stone fruits (yellow peach, apricot), lemon, lemon yogurt, white flowers, combined with notes of wax and chestnut honey (slightly bitter). The finish is refined, persistent and complex, with notes of fresh lemon.
