Tenuta San Vito – Malmantico 2016 – Vinsanto del Chianti

The nose has a certain power, a small concentration and a slightly tight grain. It reveals notes of dry apricot, dried fig and small notes of blond tobacco associated with touches of dried orange zests and a hint almost cedrat and rancio. The palate is fruity and offers precision, suavity, a mineral frame, roundness, fat and a certain concentration. On the palate this wine expresses notes of dried fig, crushed dried apricot and small notes of fruit paste (clementine) associated with a touch of pineapple syrup and hints of spices, tobacco and an imperceptible floral hint in the background. Good length.
