Tenuta San Vito – Madiere 2020 – Chianti Colli Fiorentini Riserva

The nose benefits from decanting. There are notes of blackberry, violet and small notes of pulpy wild red fruit associated with hints of tobacco, nutmeg and a discreet patina/balsamic hint. The mouth is fruity, juicy, suave, beautifully defined, gourmand, tight, precise and well-structured. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cherry, violet and small notes of blackberry associated with hints of patinated red berries, balsamic, chocolate and a hint of toasted hazelnut and local undergrowth. Good length and a very discreet hint of truffle on the finish. Good length.
