The nose is spicy, with a certain deepness, slighty tight. The wine benefits from being decanted. There are notes of blackberry, rose and small notes of ripe red berries associated with hints of blueberry and liquorice stick and slight, almost rosemary-like hints. Fruity on the palate, with good balance, a little tension, good definition and minerality. On the palate, this wine expresses juicy/pulpy blackberry, cherry and small notes of bursting cassis associated with hints of toast and chocolate. Good length. Tannins are racy and straight. Beautiful persistence and sapidity.
