Maison Cassagne et Vitailles – « Les Celis » 2022 – Vin de France

The nose is fruity and offers a certain small tension, precision and a beautiful focus on the fruit. There are notes of pulpy bigarreau cherry, white pepper and small notes of quetsche plum associated with slight hints of violet, an almost discreet smocky hint and a hint of tabaco. The mouth is beautifuly mineral, frank and offers a beautiful freshness, juiciness, gourmandize, tension, precision, an acidulous frame, suppleness, a beautiful matter, a textured side, all in tension and straightness in precision. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of pulpy/ juicy raspberry, pulpy/ juicy cherry and small notes of fleshy purple plum associated with touches of strawberry sorbet, sage and a discreet iodine/ ocean hint. Beautiful, elegant, precise, racy and tense tannins. Good length et persistence with liquorice and morello cherry hints in the background.
