The nose is aromatic, spicy, quite ample and offers a good definition. There are notes of blackberry, violet, wild small red fruits associated with touches of arbutus tree fruits, cubeb pepper, discreet hints of fresh spices and a discreet almost zests in the background. The mouth is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, a beautiful energy, an acidulous frame, tension, a certain roundness, fat and gourmandize. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy/ acidulous morello cherry, acidulous/ pulpy purple plum and small notes of acidulous/ pulpy cassis associated with touches of bright red berries as well as hints of blond tabaco, sweet spices and a subtle almost graphite hint, orange zest and chocolate/ vanilla. Good length.
