The nose offers some concentration of the fruit, a racy grain and a certain gourmandize. There are notes of concentrated cassis, morello cherry and small notes of quite ripe small red berries associated with slight touches of smoke, blond tabaco as well as a discreet hint of cornflower and liquorice. The mouth is fruity, quite ample and offers minerality, tension, precision, a fresh frame as well as roundness. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of crushed blackberry, jammed cassis and small notes of pulpy/ bright cherry associated with touches of roasted-juicy small fruits, hints of racy minerality as well as a hint of liquorice and chocolate. Silky tannins.
