Domaine Les Serrals – Côte à Côte 2021 – Faugères

(AB & Biodynamie) The nose is fresh, elegant, racy and offers a certain intensity and a melodious side. There are notes of pulpy/ fresh cassis, juicy boysen blackberry and small notes of wild red berries associated with slight hints of thyme, spices and a very discreet hint of pepper, crunchy small red berries and « sens of place » (local biotop). The mouth is fruity and offers juiciness, suavity, a mineral frame, silkiness, a certain gourmandize and precision. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of pulpy/ juicy cherry, fresh violet/ fresh flowers associated with touches of juicy/ pulpy cassis as well as hints of crunchy small fruits, fresh scrubland/ fresh sage and a very discreet almost olive hint and cardamom. Supple and sappy tannins. Harmony. Good length.
