Domaine Le Conte des Floris – Soleil Levant 2022 – Languedoc

The nose is fruity and offers a beautiful juicy/ fresh fruit, a polished side of the fruit and a certain complexity. There are notes of violet, cruched wild strawberry and small notes of rose associated with touches of bright small red fruits as well as slight hints of bright/ pulpy cherry and a discreet hint of liquorice stick. The mouth is fruity and offers minerality, freshness, tension, a beautiful fat, gourmandise as well as brightness in its pulpy fruit. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fresh/ pulpy cherry, bright raspberry and small notes of acidulous/ juicy cassis associated with touches of juicy small red fruits as well as slight hints of cornflower, badian and a subtle almost sage hint in the background and torrefied almond. Good legth. Fresh and sapid tannins.
