(whole cluster vinification, 80% Syrah, 20% Grenache) The nose offers depth, complexity and an expressive and savoury herbaceous touch. There are many aromatic Mediterranean herbs (thyme, rosemary, sage, bay leaf, garrigue), as well as floral elegance (lily, violet, fresh rose), enveloped in a dense fruitiness, but with great finesse (black plum, morello cherry, fresh wild blueberry, blueberry jam). It also expresses a gourmet touch of chocolate, toast, pine sap and cypress. The palate is structured, refined and offers powerful tannins, but in elegance and delicacy. It expresses notes of ripe fruit (plum, blackberry, morello cherry, wild blueberry), a touch of chocolate and cocoa more expressive than on the nose, herbaceous and floral notes (violet, lily, garrigue, bay leaf, thyme) with a fine minerality in the background. The finish is very long, velvety and gourmand. Elegance and good aging potential.
