Les Oubiels 2020 – Corbières

(Syrah, Grenache, Carignan) The nose is reserved, but offers a nice complexity. It expresses notes of dried mint, dried bay leaf, blackberry, dried raspberry, violet and dried rose, combined with fruity aromas of wild strawberry, blackberry, morello cherry and black plum, dark chocolate, cocoa and toast. The palate expresses the gourmet flavors of ripe fruit (wild strawberry, morello cherry, black plum), dried strawberry and garrigue, with a certain sweetness and richness (notes of crushed black plum and prunes), dark chocolate and toasted notes. The finish is fresh and tangy. Nice balance.
