Les Deux Flèches – Vieilles Vignes 2022 – Moulin-à-Vent

The nose is fruity, elegant, a certain small creaminess and finesse in its grain. There are notes of fleshy/ juicy cassis, juicy Boysenberry and small notes of bright cherry associated with slight hints of lily, cherry blossom as well as hints of clove and star anise. The mouth is fruity and offers juiciness, freshness, energy, tension and a small creaminess. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, creamy cassis and small notes morello cherry associated with touches of juicy/ acidulous small red fruits, hints of tabaco, star anis as well as slight hints almost moka, toast and toasted almond, a subtle floral hint in the background. Beautiful definition and pulpiness of the fruit. A very discreet hint of cherry stones. Roundness, suppleness and freshness. An imperceptible almost sap hints on the persistence. Fresh and racy tannins.
