Thibault Liger-Belair – La Roche 2020 – Moulin-à-Vent

The nose is aromatic and offers a certain power, a beautiful grain, a certain small concentration but all in precision with an almost aerial side. There are notes of violet and small notes of pepper associated with touches of concentrated wild strawberry, cassis as well as slight hints of warm sap/ sage and discreet hints of spices. The mouth is fruity and offers juiciness, brightness, gourmandise, a beautiful finesse and sense of detail in its construction/ structure, finesse and a certain straightness and elegance. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, juicy/ pulpy blackcurrant and small notes of juicy purple plum associated with touches of wild strawberry as well as slight moka hints, nutmeg and spices. Good length. Supple and sapid tannins. Good length.
