Domaine du Granit – Les Caves 2020 – Moulin-à-Vent

The wine benefits from being decanted and needs some time. The nose expresses notes of violet, grey pepper and small notes of spices associated with slight touches of nutmeg, almost sage and wild small red fruits in the background. The mouth is fruity and offers juiciness, suavity, freshness, minerality, a beautiful elegant fat, precision and a slight acidulous frame. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of pulpy cherry, pulpy blackberry and small notes of fresh small flowers associated with touches of crunchy small berries as well as slight hints of liquorice stick and a hint of lilac and nutmeg. Sapid and discreetly closed tannins at the same time. Beautiful suave finish.
